Adding value begins with the mindset of ALWAYS WORKING IN EXCELLENCE and GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND. Practice exceeding your client's expectations. Identify how you can add more value to everything that you are doing. People do business with people they like and who reflect their personal values. Some of the things that high paying clients value are their moneytimeclear communicationstructureconsistency and respect.

Most stylists believe that you have to lower your prices to attract more clients.

When you do this, you diminish your brand and develop a reputation where people will NEVER  pay your “regular” price because they know you will eventually discount it. 

Don't discount your services as a way to attract clients; instead CREATE SOME VALUE!

What are the things that your ideal client values, and how are you adding that value to your service?

At this time, revisit the field trip you took to complete your Systems. What was your experience at the luxury establishment? What can you do right now, in your business, to create a similar experience?

Revisit your business systems. What does your client value? What’s important to them? In what areas of your service can you address these needs in a way that will add more value to the experience.

Some ways I add value in my business:

  • I offer complimentary consultations to all new clients
  • I offer a complimentary shampoo and condition service for all first time clients
  • I offer complimentary add-on services to demonstrate my appreciation for my clients (for their birthday, if I'm running late
